Veronica Morton, MSN, RN-BC, APN
Clinical Instructor. Ms. Morton joined UAMS in June 2001, after completing Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Henderson State University. She has nursing experience in intensive care unit, gastroenterology lab, acute pain coordinator, and various medical-surgical units, and obtained board certification in Medical-Surgical nursing in June 2009 for the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
While completing graduate education, Ms. Morton was asked to join the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing for maintaining a GPA above 3.5 throughout graduate courses. She completed graduate degree in nursing science as an advanced practice nurse in June 2011 from University of Central Arkansas and received board certification as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist – Advanced Practice Nurse in February 2012 from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In March 2012 she joined UAMS Faculty, in the College of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
