Hematology Oncology Fellowship
The UAMS Hematology/Oncology Fellowship aspires to educate and train outstanding oncologists and hematologists who will be leaders in their field, while excelling in compassion and care for their patients. Our twelve fellows receive three years of comprehensive training at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, bone marrow transplantation at the University and Central Arkansas Veteran’s Hospital, and hemophilia at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. We also have a unique Hematopathology program offering major expertise in morphology, cytogenetics, cytokine research and molecular diagnosis related to leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
US graduates and Foreign medical graduates with US Internal Medicine training are welcome to apply. Our program accepts J1 and H1b visas.
Open Fellowship Positions: We have 4 positions available for July 2018 and will be accepting applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) from July – August 15, 2017.
Along with the ERAS application, we will need a CV, Personal Statement and 3 letters of reference.
