Rotations and Electives – IM

Our Internal Medicine residents split time between UAMS and the CAVHS. Inpatient rotations at both hospitals include general medicine wards, specialty wards, MICU, CCU, night float rotations and outpatient experiences include the electives below as well as continuity clinic. Formal teaching rounds on all wards/units will vary based on service, but will usually be in the a.m. and do not conflict with morning report, lunch academic conferences, or other educational opportunities.

Upper-level Residents can also request block rotations dedicated to research in order to allow the opportunity to pursue research projects in collaboration with our faculty.
