Message from the Program Director

The UAMS Hematology/Oncology Fellowship aspires to educate and train outstanding oncologists and hematologists who will be leaders in their field, while excelling in compassion and care for their patients. Our twelve fellows receive three years of comprehensive training at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, bone marrow transplantation at the UAMS Medical Center and Central Arkansas Veteran’s Hospital, and hemophilia at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. We also have a unique Hematopathology program offering major expertise in morphology, cytogenetics, cytokine research and molecular diagnosis related to leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma.
