Hometown: Wuhan, China. Vancouver, Canada. Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Medical School: University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine (OKC)

I chose UAMS for internal medicine residency because: I had great vibes from the residents when I was interviewing. Everyone was really welcoming and made me feel like this would be a great place to work. I also liked the strong informatics program that works on a variety of projects, which is rare in most academic institutions. There is also a strong heme/onc program here.

My future plans after residency: Heme/onc

When I leave work, I relax by: playing video games. Building machine learning software tools to help with my clinical practice. Doing riddles. Eating.

My favorite part about living in Little Rock: Food. I love food. I probably should work out more, but food is good.

Fun fact about me: I’ve been a citizen of China, Canada and now the US.
