Fav thing about being an APD for the UAMS Internal Medicine Residency? Observing residents as they gain knowledge, experience and confidence, especially during PGY2.

Fav thing about living in Little Rock or Arkansas? It’s the Natural State!

What do you do outside of the hospital to relax/have fun? I enjoy travelling with my wife and our adult son and daughter. I love to cook, especially Italian. For exercise, I like to be outdoors, so I run and bike on the Arkansas River Trail.

If you weren’t a doctor, what would you be? I really don’t have an answer for this because I can’t imagine doing anything else. Even though nobody in my family was a doctor, I made the decision to be one when I was in elementary school. I don’t know why; I didn’t have any family members, friends or neighbors who were doctors.

Fav show to binge watch? The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Fun fact about yourself that not a lot of people know? I failed Drivers Education in high school.
