Sheila RupleySheila Rupley (Coordinator – Internal Medicine; Medicine Pediatrics):  I am truly a Southern Girl as I was born and raised in Georgia, moved to Baton Rouge, and then to Little Rock in 2003. I have one son, Adam, who graduated from LSU and lives and works in Houston, TX. He is a Data Architect with a local company. I love to travel and have driven all over the United States to visit family and friends. My most recent trip was to London and Paris and hope to go to Ireland next. Reading, gardening, cooking and hosting dinner parties and college football are my favorite past times. I started at UAMS in 2009 as an Administrative Analyst, was promoted to Medicine Pediatrics Coordinator in December 2011, and became the Internal Medicine Coordinator in January 2016. Both programs keep me very busy, but I love meeting people from all around the world.

Jennifer Cushing

Jennifer Cushing (Faculty Coordinator – Internal Medicine):  I grew up a “military brat”, so we moved a lot when I was younger. I came to Arkansas for college and have now been here for almost 20 years. I married my best friend and love of my life a little over 12 years ago. He is a Journeyman Lineman and travels a lot during storm season. We have two amazing daughters, Mckenna and Katelyn. When I am not at work, I can typically be found chauffeuring our daughters to and from softball, volleyball, and cheer practice. During the summer months, we spend almost all of our downtime at the lake and on the water. It is safe to say that boating is my favorite past time. I also enjoy all types of music, good food, and love to travel. I started at UAMS in January of 2019. I haven’t been here very long, but I absolutely love working here. I love the atmosphere and the opportunity to meet people from around the world.
